Aligned with the Ministry of Education’s Framework for 21st Century Competencies, Camp-O offers a creative response to some of the key challenges young people face today, including social isolation and mental health struggles.

Through the practices of drama, sound, and movement, the camp supports youth to:
- Strengthen social-emotional competencies
- (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making)
- Build communication and collaboration skills
- Cultivate creativity and imagination
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
The five-day programme employs a mix of games, improvisation exercises, and individual and group assignments.
Days 1-3
Fundamentals and Creative Expression & Exploration
- Drama — character, place, time, action, conflict and dramatic tension
- Sound — pitch, loudness, duration, rhythm, vocal and object exploration/play
- Movement — body awareness, creative choreography
- Improvisation, role-play, devising and playbuilding
Days 4-5
Expressing, Creating, Collaborating, Presenting, Reflecting
- Expressing personal ideas, thoughts and feelings
- Groupwork and devising of collective performance
- Interpretation and analysis of ideas
- Rehearsal process
- Vocal and physical expression in performance
- Post-camp/performance learning reflections
